I worked in close collaboration with designers to create a suite of images for the launch of the Melbourne Recital Center and subsequent events.

The brief was to create imagery to visually represents musical experiences. The energy of an ascending piece or the delicate, gentle space of quiet moments. The 'light portal' depicting where the music emanates from.

A technically challenging shoot, capturing liquids in motion, birds and insects mid-flight, fish gliding and swirling in water. Ethereal bubbles.

Shot in studio and on location. All sets, props and styling done in house.
